Did anyone see the episode of "Batman: The Brave & The Bold" called "The Last Patrol"? I had *just* finished reading the 2nd "Showcase Presents DP" collection the night before, and got goosebumps at seeing the 60s-era DP in animated action, as well as face the same fate!! :)
It's a shame we never got to see Mento make good on his promise, but instead got to see him turned into a mentally deranged villain.
