It's part 1 of the 2-part Doom Patrol vs. Secret Six rematch you've all been waiting for! (Well, some of you. Well, Robotman seemed pretty heated up about it, anyway...) The battle starts here, and then continues over in SECRET SIX #30, also on sale this month!

Cover by CLIFF CHIANG

The battle between the Secret Six and the Doom Patrol continues from this month's DOOM PATROL #19! Last month, the Secret Six faced Luthor, but this month, they go pedal-to-the-metal against the only team as messed up as the Six themselves - the Doom Patrol! You don't want to miss this issue as a Sixer leaves the team forever!

  2. I don't read Secret Six but am familiar with Deadshot and Catman from my 1980s Suicide Squad and Batman comics, respectively. I assume the woman terrorizing NegMan on the DP cover is one of the Six, and I think that cover is quite neat. I wish the Six's own book could've given the DP the same treatment and featured one of the Doomers instead of just a pinup shot of Catman and Deadshot. Sigh.

  3. The 'woman' is Ragdoll, I believe. And I think 'she' is a he. I THINK.

Would've been great to have a DP member on the Six cover, too. Curious who's leaving though - wondering if they might be moving over to the Doom Patrol? Ragdoll is certainly freakish enough.....

  4. Ahh... someone's always leaving the Secret Six. And yeah, Ragdoll is a he. Or mostly a he, I guess, since he's mentioned that he's been chopping away at the dangly bits.

  5. FYI: Round one took place in SECRET SIX LS#3(09/06) and #4(10/06). The trade for that should be called "Six Degrees Of Devastation". The roster was the biggest in years: Cliff, Rita, Larry, Gar, plus Mento, Vox and Bumblebee.
